Disinfectant for Tanning BedTanning beds must be maintained if they are to last for several years. Cleaning the beds with disinfectant for tanning bed is part of the maintenance process, and should be done regularly. In salons, disinfectant for tanning bed should be used after each and every tanning session to ensure that your customers are using clean beds each and every time! Not just any cleaning product will do when it comes to cleaning a bed. You have two primary purposes when it comes to choosing a cleanser. First, you need to protect your customer’s from germs, and you also need to protect the bed itself from damages. Ordinary cleansers may damage the bed, while some cleansers that protect the beds don’t protect your customer’s. Cleansers used to clean tanning beds must meet two conditions: It must be a disinfectant with ingredients that include a quaternary ammonium, as opposed to an ammonia compound and it must be intended for use on acrylic. It is also important to note that not all cleansers are disinfectants – and to protect your customers, you need a disinfectant. Some popular disinfectants are Australian Gold pH Neutral Disinfectant, Clear Mint Disinfectant, Lysol IC Quarternary Disinfectant, Ultronics Ultracare Disinfectant, and Lucasol One Step Quarternary Disinfectant. When using the cleansers, it is a good idea not to spray or pour the solution directly on the bed. Instead, soak a soft towel in the cleanser, and gently wipe the bed down. Dry it with a dry soft cloth. When using disinfectant for tanning bed, it is a good idea to also perform a routine maintenance on the bed. Check the acrylic shields for nicks and scratches, and make sure that all components are working properly. If you own a salon, this check should be performed at the end of each business day, if it cannot be performed between customers. |
